Become a Functionologist

Functionology is an emerging discipline focused on optimizing human function at the cellular, tissue, and systems levels through physiology-led reasoning, measurable endpoints, and evidence-tiered decision-making.

Directory listing model
The Functionologist Directory is a public listing of Functionologists—Published Contributors who have authored and published at least one article in The Functionologist Journal. Directory listings are time-limited and renewed annually.

Eligibility for listing
To be listed, applicants must:
• Publish at least one accepted article in The Functionologist Journal
• Submit a professional biography for publication
• Confirm consent for publication of biography and profile details
• Complete the annual directory listing fee after acceptance

Annual listing term and renewal
Listings are valid for 12 months from the date of activation. Renewal reminders are sent prior to expiry. If not renewed, the profile is archived from the public directory.

How contributors should title themselves
To protect credibility and avoid implying certification, directory-listed contributors should use one of these formats:

Preferred:
• Dr Daud Qazi—Functionologist Directory Listed—Published Contributor
Short form (acceptable in bio pages and internal site use):
• Dr Daud Qazi—Functionologist—Published Contributor

Avoid:
• “Board-Certified Functionologist”
• “Certified Functionologist”
• Any wording implying licensure recognition or specialty-board status
